MARGARET MAHY COLLABORATIONS


Award winning New Zealand author Margaret Mahy and I, have collaborated on several books over the years, and we are intending to do another!

 I used my original Batik silk- painting technique for several of these books, one of which, 17 Kings and 42 Elephants, goes back to the late 80’s and was my first special connection both with Margaret Mahy and with Vanessa Hamilton.

Vanessa was the main Children’s Editor for J.M.Dent at that time, and later became both Margaret’s and my Literary Agent for many exciting years.
